Volunteers Needed for Food & Nutrition Committee!
We are looking for 4-5 volunteers to serve on the MTB Food & Nutrition Committee this season. Food, snacks, and team meals are vital to fueling our team. The booster account funds team nutrition, but it takes a team of volunteers to make it happen!
Food & Nutrition Committee:
– Plan for team meals, including the June 11th picnic and races.
– Coordinate with the booster treasurer to fund the purchase of food and snacks out of the booster account.
– Coordinate serving and set-up logistics.
– Connect with your athletes for ideas and suggestions on what types of meals and snacks the team desires.
If you’re interested, please complete this short form by June 1st.

White Bear Lake 2024 Race Series
2024 Race Scheduled Is Live!
For over a decade, the Minnesota Cycling Association has provided a multi-race series for student-athletes across the state of Minnesota. This race series offers students of all ability levels the opportunity to ride or race a bike and have fun! If a category is separated into divisions in the regular season (example: JV2, D2 Boys & JV2, D1 Boys), then each category/division combination will have its own qualification and race.
The White Bear Lake Mountain Bike Team competes in Division One.

Booster Club Volunteers Needed!
The White Bear MTB is seeking volunteers to serve on the booster club for the 2024 season. A booster club is an organization formed to support the efforts of a sports team or organization. Support is shown in many ways, including volunteering time to raise money to enhance the team and program as a whole. The MTB booster club meets monthly throughout the season and once before and after the season. Elections will be held at our summer team picnic in June. Open positions include:
President: The president is the leader of the club, responsible for its operation, ensuring guidelines are followed, attending all meetings, and helping to fill volunteer roles.
Secretary: Keeps records for the club, including meeting minutes and communications.
Treasurer: Handles all financials, including collecting donations and ensuring dues are paid. The treasurer may give a monthly report at the booster meetings, and may perform banking tasks such as depositing money and writing checks.
