2024 Race Series

2024 Race Scheduled Is Live – register by Aug 1st!
For over a decade, the Minnesota Cycling Association has provided a multi-race series for student-athletes across the state of Minnesota. This race series offers students of all ability levels the opportunity to ride or race a bike and have fun! If a category is separated into divisions in the regular season (example: JV2, D2 Boys & JV2, D1 Boys), then each category/division combination will have its own qualification and race.

The White Bear Lake Mountain Bike Team competes in Division One.

1-2 Booster Volunteers Needed!

We are still in need of 1-2 booster volunteers. Thank you to Chelsie Thielen who has volunteered so far. Melissa Telsrow will run for a third term as Treasurer if needed.

In order to stay in good standing, the booster club must have elected or appointed officers in accordance with 501(c)(3) regulations. The officers of the club must include, at a minimum, a president, treasurer, and secretary.

The boosters play a role in helping to choose the race day food/nutrition, coordinating volunteer opportunities, arranging for team photos and banners, organizing social events, and helping coordinate committees such as the end-of-year banquet.

The athletes have worked hard to raise funds to support the team, and the booster club officers play an important role in furthering the team's mission. Open positions:

  • President: The president is the leader of the club, responsible for its operation, ensuring guidelines are followed, attending all meetings, and helping to fill volunteer roles.

  • Secretary: Keeps records for the club, including meeting minutes and communications.

  • Treasurer: Handles all financials, including collecting donations and ensuring dues are paid. The treasurer may give a monthly report at the booster meetings, and may perform banking tasks such as depositing money and writing checks.
