At least 24 hours before every practice, update TeamSnap with your attendance.
Tuesday’s practice is from 5:30-6:45 at Sunfish Lake Mountain Bike Park.
Thursday’s practice is 5:30-6:45 PM at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
For both weekly practices, arrive at 5:15 and be ready to ride by 5:30 PM.

Race 4 This Weekend! Whitetail Ridge

The course at Whitetail Ridge is as textbook an old school XC course and offers our rider the classic conundrum of sustained mid length climbs to really fill the legs with lactate and rooted, rocky, and twisty single track to navigate with jelly legs and hypoxic tunnel vision. The challenge here is self management. Measured effort on the climbs is the key so you can maintain tempo over choppy and swooping single track. This course favors those that race within themselves.

High School Racers (Freshman, JV2, JV3 and Varsity)
Arrival Times: Please arrive at least 90 minutes before your race time and come to our big orange tents! If your race time is split into two different times, White Bear Lake is a Division One team, so look for D1 race times on the schedule.
Race plates are required. If you brought them home with you after the last race, bring them to this race. If you left your plates with the coaches, they’ll have them for you at this race. If you lost them, they are available for purchase at the league trailer on race day for $25.
Volunteer for the League, or volunteer for the team! Keep your eyes on email this week for a team volunteer sign up. Your help is needed and appreciated.
Pre-ride: There will be no race weekend pre-rides. The courses will be marked in the weeks before (see race flyer for information) and be available to ride until this Thursday.
Weather Info: The league uses an app to send weather related updates straight to your phone! For this race, text 2021WHITETAIL to 84483 to receive alerts.
Race Day Results: Download the app, “It’s Your Race” from Google Play or Apple App Store. Once you’ve set up your account, search for races by “MCA Race 7 Whitetail Ridge”. All results are unofficial until posted on the MCA website.
